Stuck for something to do this bank holiday Monday? Well why not take a wander down to your local KTM dealer and check out the firm’s new 790 Duke, which has just landed in the UK.
Powered by KTM’s all-new LC8 799cc parallel twin motor, the 790 Duke punches out an impressive 105bhp with 64ftlb of torque. But far from just a powerful motor, the Duke weighs a featherweight 169kg and comes armed with a chassis that delivers serious handling. In fact, MCN’s Michael Neeves was so impressed by the Duke when we rode it at the bike’s launch, he reckoned it was ‘more fun than a Triumph Street Triple!’ Now that takes some doing…
